Description Transformers of this type series enable the measuring and protection in the medium voltage switchboard with rated primary currents of up to 5000 A. They are designed for use in indoor installations, both in normal and severe climatic conditions. The transformers are all of trought-going conductor design, with one to three secondary outlets, according to the type of its use. The magnetic circuits together with windings are embedded in epoxi resin and the intermal paint oftransformer body is provided with a semiconductive pain which is fitted on the front surface of transformer body too.While in operation, the potential of primary winding is connected to this paint.

Transformers are equipped with a baseplate with four mounting holes, the BB 104 types have a third secondary outlet to connect differential protection relay. In case a third secondary winding is needed, we use the type BBO 104 with a transformer ratio of 1:100 of primary current value. All the transformers meet the specifications of relevant standards, i.e.the IEC, VDE, ANSI, BS, GOST, ČSN.
