I believe Perrysburg Basketball is becoming one of the top high school programs in Northwest Ohio. I also believe we have many outstanding young players who want to be part of the program. I look forward to working with each of you. Our camps will be structured to build from the very basic skills in the 1-4 camps; to more complex skills in the grades 5-6 camp; to a practice like setting for grades 7-8-9. More team concepts will be introduced as the players advance, while the younger players will learn more about the rules and set-up of the game. We will teach shooting form, ball handling, and passing, team play, rebounding techniques, defensive basics, and full-court play. Each of these fundamentals will be drilled daily and coached for reinforcement. Perhaps, as important, we will teach and stress proper court attitude - respecting referees, being a team player, handling missed shots and being a good winner. Each camper will get a chance to play a lot of basketball, learn about this great game and have lots of fun!!! Sign up now and start your path to . . . . BEING A FIGHTING YELLOW JACKET!!

Coach Dave Boyce is completing his seventeenth season at the helm of the Perrysburg HS basketball program. He spent fifteen years at Westland HS in suburban Columbus. He began his career as a head coach at the age of 22 at Northwood HS. Boyce is a Cardinal Stritch and BGSU graduate, receiving his teaching certification at UT and his Masters in Educational Administration from OSU. In his 16 years at Perrysburg, Boyce has led the Yellow Jackets to eight NLL titles and seven second place finishes. Boyce's teams at Perrysburg are winning at an 80% pace, have been ranked as high as #3 in the state of Ohio AP poll, and this year as high at #6. Over the past 25 years at Westland and Perrysburg, Boyce's teams have won over 70% of their games including final rankings as high as #3, #5 and #7 in the state of Ohio AP poll. He has also led each school to their first ever Division 1 district championship. He has coached three Division I players and seven 1000 point scorers, with Nick Moschetti joining the group in 2014. Coach Boyce 's goal is to lead the Yellow Jacket program into area and state prominence while developing young men to reach their potential as athletes and people. JACKET BASKETBALL TRADITION
