BBC Meeting Minutes April 8, 2013 Attendance Scott Larson, Brenda Dahl, Julie Willert, Joel Bjerke, Tammy Johnson, Ron Spier, Dave Bean, Nick Guida, Jason Sorenson, Dave Maatz and Traci Pederson.
Approval of March Minutes Ron made a motion to approve March minutes. Tammy seconded. Motion carries.
Treasurer’s Report Ron motioned to approve the treasurer’s report. Brenda seconded; motion carries.
Coach Guida’s Report Banquet was held last night. Season recap: 20-8 overall, 9-1 in conference, conference champs. Conference, Section & State academic champs. 11 academic all-conference awards were handed out last night. All stats, etc. are all updated on bisonhoops.com. Summer info will be coming out soon.
Old Business AAU requests – current 8th graders and above who were in BBC traveling program or BHS basketball program this year (2012-2013) are eligible. Uniform & equipment return – Ron thinks about 95% returned. Dave M. has a list of who hasn’t returned uniforms. Equipment has been returned. Scott and Tammy will follow up with those whose uniforms are still outstanding. Year-end surveys - 55 responses (of 116 kids in program) Varsity banquet – Dave Bean will pass on supply bucket to next year’s Jr. parents. Went $130 over budget. Brenda made a motion to cover the $130 out of general budget. Dave M. seconded. Motion carries. Spring 3 on 3 league – starts this Sunday. Over 50 teams, mostly boys’ teams.
New Business 2013-2014 Buffalo tournaments – November tournament will be weekend before Thanksgiving, Nov 23rd - 24th. Tentative date for February tournament is February 9th. High school program will co-host a Winter tournament over the holidays with STMA, on Friday and Saturday, December 27th-28th. Buffalo will host Friday. Teams included Page | 1
will be STMA, Buffalo, St. Cloud Tech, Orono. Tournament will be for these high school teams at all levels. Nick motioned to adjourn the meeting. Brenda seconded the motion.
