Official Cook Team Entry Form The 2013 Anne Spring Close Greenway Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival will be held at the Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, SC on Friday, Sept. 20th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday, Sept. 21st from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Competition is limited to the first 25 cooking teams to register. Cash Prizes will be awarded, see enclosed list for more details. Details: Each team will be provided with 10 8-lb Boston butts and/or 10 racks of pork spare rib on Friday, Sept. 20 at 5pm. Each team will be provided a 30’x 20’ cooking space. If you require a larger area, please describe your reasons on the back of this application, including the size of grills, props and any other items used in your cooking setup. The Any Thing Butt competition will be held Friday night and is voluntary. We are doing a chicken wing competition based on feedback from cook teams last year. You will need to provide your own wings for the competition. Please see the enclosed flyer. Please let me know if you have any questions. We value our barbecue cookers and we want to help you be successful! Your entry fee must be received with application form no later than Monday, Sept. 16. (Make checks payable to the Anne Springs Close Greenway.) The festival committee reserves the right to reject any entry, and no refunds will be made once a team has been officially accepted. Waiver of liability: Contestant agrees to indemnify and hold the Leroy Springs & Co., Inc., and ASC Greenway Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival and its committee, staff and volunteers from any and all claims made against same, including without limitation, all costs, liabilities, judgments, expenses, damages or reasonable attorney’s fees arising out of or in connection with any structures erected by the contestant, any equipment or personal property used by the contestant, any act or omission to act of contestant, and any claims made on account of or resulting from contestant’s participation in the contest. I agree to abide by all of the rules of the ASC Greenway Barbecue and Bluegrass Festival. I further agree to notify all members of the team I represent about these rules.
