Kids Sew 101 with Sherrie Davis Kids will learn a new skill while having fun with friends. Basics of sewing will be covered, so no experience required. Supply List: Simplicity Pattern # 8027 (or if larger size needed adult pattern New Look 6004 – 1 ½ yd of 45” fabric) Fabric for skirt (1yd of 45” fabric) Coordinating thread Dressmaker shears Waistband elastic Basic sewing supplies are available for classroom use, but it is recommended that you bring your own: o Tape Measure o Hem gauge or 6”ruler o Pins without plastic heads o Seam ripper o Frixion or removable marking pen Other items that are not necessary but helpful include pin cushion, and a container to hold all sewing supplies. It is also helpful to label all items so child can keep track of supplies.
