Congratulations, you’ve signed up for a beginner quilt making class. Be assured that no experience is necessary—that’s why you’re in this class!
ILT
The class project is a single-patch quilt with Border.
QU
This project will teach you basic quilt making, is easy to learn and always looks great. The first session will be discussing the project and tools we will be working with for the class. You will have help to choose your fabrics and gather your supplies in this first session.
PA TC H
You do not need to bring your sewing machine to the first class. We will cut and begin sewing in the second session. This class takes you through all the steps of making a quilt– cutting, piecing, basting the layers, tying and binding. You will have a complete quilt at the end of the class
CO TT ON
Specific fabric and tool requirements will be given in the first session Students are required to use Olfa Rotary cutters, mats, and rulers.
