2-3/4 yards -Cut (22) 2-1/2” strips into (127) 2-1/2”x6-1/2” rectangles -Cut (16) 2-1/2” strips for 1st & 3rd borders
Medium 2nd border & cornerstones
1-5/8 yards -Cut (2) 2-1/2” strips into (28) cornerstones -Cut (7) 6-1/2” strips
Dark 4th border, cornerstones & Binding
1-2/3 yards --Cut (2) 2-1/2” strips into (28) cornerstonesCut (9) 3-1/2” strips -Cut (9) 2-1/2” binding strips
Backing

Instructions: 1. Lay out your Bible Studies blocks in the order of your choice: 9 horizontal rows of 8 blocks each. (Quilt shown is in order of the books of the Bible.) 2. Stitch a 2-1/2”x6-1/2” sashing strip between each block as shown above. Press toward the sashing strips. Construct 9 horizontal rows. 3. Construct (8) sashing rows, alternating sashing strips and cornerstones as shown. Press toward the sashing strips. 4. Stitch the block rows and sashing rows together to complete the quilt top. Instructions (continued): 5. Measure the length of your quilt top through the center of your quilt. Depending on your individual seam allowance, your quilt top should measure approximately 70-1/2” long. Stitch together 2-1/2” first border strips and cut (2) pieces to length. Stitch to each side of the quilt top. 6. Measure the width of your quilt top through the center of your quilt. Depending on your individual seam allowance, you quilt top should measure approximately 66-1/2” wide. Stitch together 2-1/2” first border strips and cut (2) pieces to width. Stitch to the top and bottom of the quilt top. 7. Measure the length and width of your quilt top including the inner borders. Depending on your individual seam allowance, your quilt top should measure 661/2”x74-1/2”. Stitch 6-1/2” second border strips together and cut (2) to length and (2) to width. Stitch outer border strips to the sides of the quilt top. Press toward the outer border. 8. Stitch a Genesis block to each side of the top and bottom outer border strips. Press toward the border strip. 9. In the same fashion as Step 7, stitch together 21/2” third border strips and stitch (2) strips to the sides (approximately 86-1/2”) and (2) strips to the top and bottom (approximately 82-1/2”). 10.In the same fashion, stitch together 3-1/2” fourth border strips and stitch (2) strips to the sides (approximately 90-1/2”) and (2) strips to the top and bottom (approximately 88-1/2”). Press toward the outer borders. 11.Layer quilt top, batting and backing. Quilt as desired. 12.Stitch binding strips together. Bind the quilt.
