Step 1 — Drill



Remove the nine 15mm Philips #1 screws



Remove the two 12.5mm Philips #1 screws



Remove the two 10mm Philips #1 screws

Lift one side of the drill casing off of the drill. Note that the drill casing consists of two pieces on either side of the drill.

Step 3 — Motor 

After opening the the casing, locate and grab the head of the drill. Twist the motor counter-clockwise and pull to detach it from the transmission.

 However, do not pull too hard because the motor is attached to other components of the drill by wires.

Step 4



After taking out the motor, you can observe two wires that are plugged in (or possibly soldered, depending on which variant you have) to the bottom of the motor. To detach the motor, unplug the wires or desolder their connections with a soldering iron as needed.

Wait for the wires and connectors to cool. Pull the wires from the motor and the motor should now be fully disconnected from the drill.
