Black Hills Youth Baseball Association 2017 Baseball Season ALL-STAR APPLICATION By completing this form, you are requesting that your child be considered for the BHYB All-Star program. The All-Star selection process involves a vote by division managers. Forms must be submitted to your manager. Managers must submit applications to their division representative no later than Friday, April 28th in order to be considered. There will be no exceptions to this rule. A list of the applicants’ names will be provided to the appropriate division managers as soon as possible. A meeting will be held to select the All-Star teams. The All-Star manager will be selected by their peers in the same meeting after the vote for players are tallied and posted. By completing this form you also understand there are additional time, travel and financial commitments per player – including $150.00 in fees to BHYB. Time commitment can range from 3-4 additional weeks of practice and games for the Rookie teams, 4-6 weeks for the 9 year old teams and possibly up to 8-10 weeks for the 10-12 year old teams depending on their success. By applying for the All-Star program consideration, you and your child are committing to attend ALL OR MOST of the practices and games during this extended season if chosen. Also by signing this form, you are agreeing to participate in the All-Star fundraiser, if BHYB decides to require one. If there are any conflicts that need to be considered, they must be listed below. NOTE – For the exception to be granted a player must be playing in the appropriate division, for example, a 10 year old that wants to be considered for the 11A All-Star team must be playing in the Major Division.
