OTTAWA HILLS YOUTH BASEBALL ASSOCIATION The OHYBA is a program for all children living in Ottawa Hills or attending Ottawa Hills Schools.
Divisions/Schedule: Games commence April 17 and conclude with the World Series on June 3. Game days may vary based on weather interruptions and school scheduling conflicts. American League (2nd – 4th grade) Games: Monday & Wednesday Practices: Vary by team
National League (5th – 7th grade) Games: Tuesday & Thursday Practices: Vary by team
Coaches: All coaches are volunteer & parents can indicate their willingness to coach when registering their child.
Uniform: All players must wear a complete uniform. Team jerseys, socks, and a hat is provided. Players need to select their jersey size when registering & provide their own white baseball pants.
Equipment: Each player should provide their own glove. Bats & helmets are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Registration: Player registration will be completed online -- http://sports.bluesombrero.com/ohysa. Instructions for registering are included on the website.
Fees: $110 - This fee covers the cost of insurance, background checks, field maintenance, insurance, equipment, umpires, team jersey, hat and socks. Fees can be submitted via credit card on the website or via mail with checks made payable to OHYBA. CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. A $10 late fee will be assessed if received after 3/17/2017.
