Registration
The Surprise Blaze Club Basketball program is a member of AAU. We will offer year round competitive basketball for boys and girls in 4th through 8th grades. Our goal is to be one the most successful and organized AAU programs in the Arizona’s West Valley area to teach your son basketball fundamentals and prepare them for middle school and high school basketball.
Our AAU 2016 club code is WWEFE8.
Training AND Tournament Play Surprise Blaze Club Basketball program is based on two skills training:
Basketball Training – held 1x a week. Players attend weekly workouts in order to learn advanced basketball skills fundamental. Players go through two hours of circuit training with a controlled scrimmage that is run by our Blaze coaching staff. We will expect all existing and new players attend these workouts. Day(s) and Training times will be determined based on availability of facilities.
Summer Tournament Team: Maximum of (10) Players per team to allow players an opportunity to receive proper playing time. A minimum of (7) players will be needed to participate in a tournament.
Cost to Play: AAU Yearly Fee Required: $16 (includes practice insurance certificate) • Liability Insurance for each player. • Register at www.aausports.org

#1 Blaze Training – Summer (Training Only) Registration Fee (includes all of the following):
$75.00 (Payable to Surprise Blaze) • • • • •
Basketball Training – 1x per week. 8 Weeks of Training for 2 Hours (June – July). No Tournaments. Surprise Blaze T-Shirt. Players outside of the Blaze training program are allowed to participate in our workouts for a fee of $15.00 per player.
#2 New Blaze Players – Summer (Training + Tournaments) Registration Fee (includes all of the following):
$150.00 (Payable to Surprise Blaze)

Includes Tournament Fees – (4) Tournaments. June – September Basketball Training – 1x per week. Must attend 3 out of 4 workouts per month to participate in tournaments. Must be registered with AAU. Surprise Blaze Summer Reversible Jersey + Shorts (Purple / Black / White). Surprise Blaze T-Shirt. Monthly dues will be collected in July, August and September. Team App Invite (Communication / News / Tournament Info).
#3 Existing Blaze Players (Training + Tournaments) Players will have to re-register and pay for the registration fee at the time of registration. Monthly dues will start in July. Registration Fee (includes all of the following):

Fundraising: No Car Washes! No Candy Sales! • Revenue generated through fundraisers at various food chains. • In store-share revenue fundraisers – raise 15-50% of profit. • Not attending fundraisers? All players are expected to contribute $25 towards fundraiser.
Club Manager / Head Coach: • •
Club will designate a manager to oversee expenses, tournament entries, dues, and registration. Club monthly dues will be waived to Club Manger and / or Head Coach (does not include registration fee).
Ongoing Tryouts: Tryouts for BLAZE basketball will be ongoing process to make sure we have a match for our Surprise Blaze Basketball. If case of players dropping out of the program, we will hold tryouts to replace players. No registration refunds after the first month of participation.
Tournament Entries The focus for the Surprise Blaze Basketball program will be working on advanced basketball skills and preparing them to excel at a high level of competition. We will plan to attend one local tournament a month based on players and availability of the tournament. Playing time is NOT a guarantee! Head Coach will have the discretion to decide on playing time based on the following: Talent, Work Ethic, Practice, and Game Situation.
