Blue Class 1 Literacy - Willy the Wimp by Anthony Browne
Blue 1 have been reading ‘Willy the Wimp’ by Anthony Browne this term. All pupils have participated in the sensory story, using different sensory stimuli such as banana smells, mirrors, dressing up in tutus and aerobic sweat bands, posting letters, boxing and weightlifting. They have also worked hard answering

differentiated questions about the text. Fantastic work Blue 1.
Blue 1 enjoyed Judo for the second time in this year. Pupils love this and enjoyed learning holds and moves such as chest holds, break falls, side break falls, foot sweeps, hip throws and leg sweeps. They also enjoyed playing on the mats and rough and tumble with Kevin the Judo instructor. Well done Blue 1.
The Queens 90th Birthday
Blue 1 celebrated the Queen turning 90, by inviting Blue 2 to a party. We served traditional British food like cucumber sandwiches, Bakewell tart and scones. Pupils had union jack flags and plates and some even wore red, white and blue clothes. They all really enjoyed the food and drink.
