Beading Techniques needed to complete the bracelets: Opening and Closing a Jump Ring Crimping Stretch Magic Instructions to complete “Blue Me Away” bracelets: Bracelet #1 Step 1 Open one jump ring (see Opening and Closing a Jump Ring Technique), and attach it to one 13mm dagger charm. Close the jump ring. Step 2 String these beads in the following sequence onto a 10-inch length of Stretch Magic cord: 1 – denim lapis beads 3 – disc spacer bead 3 – denim lapis beads 1 – lotus bead 1 – denim lapis bead 1 – lotus bead 1 – denim lapis bead 1 – disc spacer bead 2 – denim lapis beads 2 – snow quartz beads 1 – dagger charm (from step 1) 2 – snow quartz beads 1 – disc spacer bead 3 – aquamarine beads 3 – chevron beads 2 – aquamarine beads 1 – trapezoid bead 1 – aquamarine bead Step 3 String a 2x2 crimp bead through both ends of the Stretch Magic so the ends of the elastic are facing in opposite directions. Pull both ends of the Stretch Magic until the beads are right up next to the crimp bead. Squeeze the crimp bead flat with chain nose pliers ( see Crimping Stretch Magic Technique). Cut off the excess elastic with scissors. Step 4 Place the flat crimp bead inside the crimp bead cover. Gently squeeze the pliers just until the crimp bead cover is completely closed (see Crimp Bead Cover Technique).
