Coach’s Corner: Greetings Fellow Bobcats! It’s the end of the semester and track season is quickly approaching. We are in the final week of exams as our student athletes finish up the semester. We are really excited about entering yet another new conference for the 2014 season. Our teams have been training well and we are anxiously awaiting to open up our indoor campaign. This year’s team bolsters a great combination of experience from our veterans and young, talented freshman. We look forward to watching the season unfold as we continue to prepare each week for the Indoor Sunbelt Championship in Birmingham, Ala. With each year, things continue to get a little bit better for Bobcat Track and Field. However, we can still only be as good as our support system. Please continue to follow and support our program. Obviously, the financial support is of great significance but we need your physical support as well. We invite you all to come out to as many of our meets as possible. I want to personally thank those who have already donated
this year and the ones that donated in the past. Your contribution definitely made a difference. We were able to get some new signage to hang outside our locker rooms. We will continue to push to make Texas State Track and Field the best program possible. It’s never too late to consider becoming a member of the Golden Spike Club. In conclusion, my staff and I would like to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Spend your time with your family and friends and truly embrace the Holiday season. Be safe and we will chat next year! Eat em’ up Cats!!

Top Returners Texas State lost an accomplished group of seniors that included Timothy Young, Logan Cunningham, Danessa Lyssy, Kelsey Titzman, Chante’sean White and more who led the Bobcats to three conference championships in 2013, but the future still looks bright for the Bobcats as they have plenty of top returners coming back to spur Texas State toward more championships in 2014.
