IMPACT ON THE COMMUNITY • The Pabst Professional Center is exactly what this area of Milwaukee needed to complete its neighborhood. The first significant downtown office building to be built in over a decade in Milwaukee, as mentioned in the panel discussion “A Vision of Milwaukee’s Lakefront” by panelist Mike Mervis from Zilber, LTD. • Revitalized Milwaukee’s former Pabst Brewery. Being located so close to downtown, this office building helps the historic neighborhood for potential growth. Targeting professionals, that want to work near the Milwaukee County Courthouse, is the owners goal and it’s getting accomplished. • Logicalis was the first tenant to kick off this project. They are an international IT solutions and managed services provider with a breadth of knowledge and expertise in communications and collaboration; data center and cloud services; and managed services. • In May of 2015, TCF Bank will open in the new Pabst Professional Center. Across the way Blue Ribbon also plans to convert the former Pabst bottling house into apartments. Those apartments will be marketed to students at Marquette University, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and other area colleges who come to Milwaukee from outside the United States.
