The motif is a Japanese Pine Tree Komen (clan crest) that is fused and then edge stitched to a stabilizer. The coaster is backed by felt for extra protection for surfaces you would want to protect from heat or scratching. Students will make one coaster in class to learn the process but the class kit has materials for a set of four. Note: kits will be available in a variety of colors and fabrics and may not match those shown below. Please be courteous to others by arriving for class with the correct supplies.
