*Debra found herself in what seemed like a hopeless situation. When she first entered in InterAct, she had suffered abuse from her husband for more than 30 years. Debra slowly began to rebuild her life with case managers at InterAct. They helped her with finding an occupation and reliable transportation. The main question of where will she stay was the main obstacle. Debra’s credit and delinquency on rent (both due from difficult abuse) made it hard to find a safe place to live. With help from InterAct staff, Debra found a local apartment complex for her to live. Thanks to the help she received at InterAct,
Debra was able to move into her very own apartment and continue the healing that started at InterAct. *name change to protect her identity
