With lawns, flower and shrub borders and a summerhouse

Property A modern six bedroom executive home on a corner plot with brick and tiled elevations built approximately 15 years ago, this lovely family home offers light and well-proportioned accommodation with a generous walled and fenced garden, complete with a hot tub. The ground floor is entered via the entrance hall with cloakroom, lounge, separate dining room, kitchen/breakfast room and utility room. On the first floor, the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room, there are three further bedrooms and a family bathroom. The top floor has a large landing space, two further bedrooms and a shower room. Externally, the property has a good-sized garden with lawns, flower and shrub borders and a summerhouse with the attractive front garden having off street parking leading to the double garage. Broomfiled has local convenience stores and a post office, as well as a popular public house. Herne Bay town centre is within easy access, where you will find a variety of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and of course the beach. Herne Bay also has a mainline railway station providing a regular service to London.

Our Time Here It was the location that drew us here. It has the quietness of a village, and is close to bus stops providing regular services to Canterbury and Herne Bay town. The property has easy access to the main road making it quick and convenient to drive to Herne Bay, Whitstable, Canterbury and Thanet. The Thanet/London rail service is also easily accessed. We have enjoyed making use of the hot tub and summerhouse in the secluded garden. Having 4 double bedrooms and 4 toilets has made it a comfortable and practical family home. The garden is a good size with a high wall making it a safe and pleasant environment for children to play and adults to relax. The bay window in the lounge is also a favourite feature. The small convenience store opposite is also a Post Office. There is a Hair Salon a short walk away. A short drive away (5mins) is a second convenience store, along with a good Fish & Chip shop, a Chinese takeaway and a hairdresser. There are a few primary schools nearby. Our children are at secondary school in Canterbury and find the bus service very convenient. We like the fact that we are a short drive down country lanes to The Prince of Wales in Hoath, which does lovely meals. We are additionally very near to the Harvester and Table Table/Premier Inn. The duck pond used to be a favourite when the children were younger. Reculver Towers is a pleasant place to appreciate the coastal view and Herne Bay amusements and Pier, the cinema and swimming pool are also favourites. We have enjoyed living in this property and being in a village location and we will miss everything about the house. Gardening in the front garden has helped us to build relationships with neighbours as they often stop and talk as they pass by.
