Zeta Tau Alpha
NASA/Brazoria County Alumnae Chapter Year of the ZTA In 2013-2014, the chapter celebrated the ‘Year of the ZTA’ by spelling Zeta Tau Alpha through our creative and service-oriented activities. We were Zetas with Zest as we brought Zeta friends to the Welcome Back Dinner, we Took our Pick during the Favorite Things Gift Exchange, and we raised more money for the ZTA Foundation than ever before during our Annual Bunco Fundraiser. We were honored to receive several individual and chapter awards at Zeta Day in February along with Crown Chapter at Convention in June. Another notable accomplishment was recommending over 120 young women for Zeta Tau Alpha during fall and spring recruitment. With eight new members from our area, Zeta outnumbered all other sororities. We continued to focus on service by collecting toiletries for Bay Area Turning Point, adopting another well-deserving family at Christmas, making Easter baskets for the Boys and Girls Harbor, and donating gift cards and household items to Camp Hope. Thanks for making this year so successful and fun! Cheri Armstrong (outgoing president)
Love, the Greatest of All Things As August winds down and school for our collegiates begins, I'm reminded of the excitement of moving into the house, figuring out where my classes were, and enjoying my sisters and the companionship. The NASA/ Brazoria County ZTA Alumnae Chapter invite you to bring back those feelings and reconnect with sisters by joining us September 8th at Friends Uncorked by celebrating the greatest of all things, Love in 2014-2015. Come hear the great service projects we have planned and the fun activities to get us out of the house! We meet the first Monday of the month at 7:00 PM. This year we will again support our collegiate campuses Theta Eta (Stephen F. Austin) and Theta Gamma (Texas A&M) with recruitment and financial support, and treats throughout the year! We have and exciting and fun packed year planned and whether you make one meeting or all, we'd love to see you! Please take a look at the enclosed calendar to see this year’s plans. See you on September 8th! Brooke Newell (new president)
