The property is found in a cul-de-sac to the West of Herne Bay town centre. Herne Bay offers a wide variety of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants, and has a mainline railway station providing a regular service to London.

Our Time Here The amazing uninterrupted sea view from the house is what first attracted us to this property. The back garden gate leads right out onto the seafront, and the house overlooks the whole shoreline of Herne Bay. Our favourite room is definitely the lounge/diner where you can sit for hours, eating or relaxing and looking out over the sea. It’s a light and spacious room and we love the fact that there is always something different to see from there. The location is wonderful – you couldn’t get much closer to the seashore! – but it is also very accessible for all the amenities you could possibly need. There is a small supermarket nearby (about an 8 minute walk), which stocks all the essentials, and a local pub within 10 minutes walk from the house. The nearby Primary School is just a 15-20 minute walk away, and the Community Centre is also within easy walking distance, offering several activities including bowls, yoga and coffee mornings. The bus stop is only 10 minutess walk away, and this runs every 15 minutes into Canterbury. We have found this area to be very friendly and it has a good sense of local community. We like the fact that the house is close to Herne Bay town and also the motorway. We also like taking a stroll down the promenade, which is ideal for walkers and cyclists. There are lovely routes from Whitstable to Reculver. We will miss plenty of things about this house, but the view is certainly the one aspect that we will miss most.
