BUFFALOES FOREVER BHS-RCHS ALUMNI ASSOCIATION The goal of the Belleville High School/Republic County High School Alumni Association is to support the school, connect alumni to the school and each other, and preserve the history of our communities. Your generosity, as tax deductible contributions, provides scholarships to graduating seniors and funds for school improvement projects. 2014 donors enabled the Alumni Association Scholarship Committee to grant almost $6,000 in scholarships. In addition, the generosity of the Alumni donated $1,000 to Weight Room Equipment. We thank you for your support of these projects and of the district. We have some very talented, intelligent and amazing students at Republic County High School and are proud of each one of them! Proud to be a Buffalo forever!

ONE TO ONE TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE To prepare students of USD 109 for their future, it is necessary for them to use computers like we in the past used pencil and paper. USD 109 began the One to One Technology Initiative by placing I Pad Mini's in the Third grade classroom and Lenova Think Pad computers with high school seniors. These computers are used by the students during the school year, and then passed to students moving up to those grades the next year. After an extremely successful year with the computers, the goal is to provide grades 4 through 11 with computers also. Unfortunately, school funding cuts provide an unexpected challenge to a goal that will help every single child in our school system. We would like to offer alumni the opportunity to contribute to the future of our students by contributing $239.00 towards an I Pad Mini, $395.00 towards a Lenova Think Pad or a financial contribution of choice. Our goal is to meet one classroom of 35 students needs. Contributions may be sent to: USD 109, Board of Education; 1205 19 St.; Belleville, KS 66935. Make checks payable to: USD 109-One to One Initiative. Questions may be addressed to Superintendent Mike Couch at 785-527-5621 [email protected] or Chris Navis 785-955-0285. Fundraising Sponsoring Organization: The Shakespeare Club, represented by committee members: Chris Navis, Donna Ward, and Nancy Holt

Again, we thank you for your support of these projects and of the district. We thrive because of your continued support & it is greatly appreciated!
