Business Writing and Grammar Can Be Fun! Ron Champion’s presentation will help us to understand how English can be confusing, why writing can be challenging, and what we can do to improve our business writing documents. He will help us recognize and avoid some of the most common mistakes in writing that can confuse your message and reader. All with lots of real-life, entertaining and illuminating examples. Writing and grammar can be fun!

Ron Champion manages the Renison International Office at the University of Waterloo. He has a degree in economics, certification in teaching English as a second language, 15 years’ executive experience with an international educational organization, a partnership in a writing consultancy, a registered trademark for something called Guerrilla Grammar®, and 20 years of teaching experience. But Ron is especially proud of his collection of single malts—more than one hundred at last count.
