I cannot express how deeply moved I am by your show of love, marking my twenty-year anniversary. As God allows me to continue serving Him here, I pray I will clearly express His love to you. Thank you for calling us, hearing us, and loving us! Serving the Lord with the tremendous team He has put together in this place blesses me daily. Ted, J, Judy, Michael, Daniel, Carole, and Lori serve far beyond what any salary requires. My deep thanks to them! If I began a list of volunteers, it would require several pages. So, risking an oversight, I’ll categorize the faithful servants of First Baptist Church of Bryson City: deacons, teachers, committees, fellowship groups, choir, praise team, and congregation. You serve the Lord faithfully. My deep thanks to you!

Where are you going today? To school? To work? To the golf course? We are on the go! Jesus gives us a commission to be intentional as an ambassador for Christ as we go! Christians are called to live faithfully “as you go”. On October 16, join other Western North Carolina Baptists who have stories of success and struggle who see their every-day lives as ministry, service, and influence for Christ. What is God calling you to do through your circles of influence? Looking forward,
Ted Duncan
