Digging Deep What lies below the surface? Is there more than what just meets the eye? Join us to take a close look at our planet and examine what is required to take care of it. Why should we recycle or compost? How to plants and trees help clean the environment? What is our role as the citizens of this planet?
Diving Down Under
Diving Down Under Let’s take a look at the oceans, seas, rivers and lakes – what makes each of them different and why? What is the ecosystem that thrives down there? How do we find out more about life down under? Join us to explore the animal life and flora and fauna in the depths of the water bodies on this planet.
Flying High
Flying High Soar high with us as we begin to explore the mystery of flight! How do birds fly? Do airplanes work the same way?How are space ships different from airplanes? What are drones and how are they being used today? Can we build our own models and test them? How high will they fly?
Spaced Out
Spaced Out Come see the stars with us as we explore the mysterious galaxy! What makes our solar system so unique? Is there life only on Earth and not on the other planets- how can we find out? What are constellations? What is the role of the biggest star in the solar system?
Mad Scientist
Mad Scientist Ask a question and discover the answer! Do oil and water mix? How can we make eggs float? What happens when you mix vinegar and baking soda? What else do you wonder about? This is the week to put those wonderings to the test!
Rainbow Burst
Rainbow Burst Do you like exploring colors? This is the week to look at all the different colors and be a multi- media artist! Let’s mix, craft, mold, twist, tie and dye… …it’s time to get our creative juices flowing! Come don your smocks and let’s get making!
Join us for a summer camp that is focused on exciting discoveries and endless possibilities! A summer to explore, create, have fun in the sun, laugh, and be with friends. Each week will include neighborhood nature walks and a weekly trip to Burgess Park. Children must be 3 years old and continent by the start of camp. Snacks are provided.
