CAMP PHILOSOPHY The Colgate University Youth Soccer Academy is committed to providing a competitive and fun playing atmosphere for all participants. The coaches on staff are devoted to the individual improvement of each camper through skill instruction, tactical training, and numerous game situations in a safe and healthy environment.
CAMP FORMAT AND AGES Colgate’s Youth Soccer Academy is for any and all boys and girls who are entering grades Pre-K through 8th. Camp will be held on the campus of Colgate University in Hamilton, New York. Typical Daily Routine (Subject to Change) 8:30 AM 9:00 AM 9:45 AM 10:15 AM 11:00 AM 11:45 AM 12:15 AM 1:00 PM 1:45 PM 2:15 PM 3:00 PM

CAMP STAFF The camp staff will include the entire Colgate University Men’s Soccer staff: Head Coach - Erik Ronning Assistant Coach - Michael Mauro Assistant Coach - Mark Plotkin Your son/daughter will benefit for the instruction of some of the area’s top college and high school coaches. Many of Colgate’s current student-athletes will also be on staff. Additional Staff: Alyssa Manoogian, Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach Pat Letourneau, Former Colgate Men’s Soccer Player

Ronning has taken the Raiders to the Patriot League Tournament in eight of the nine seasons he has been at Colgate. Colgate won back-to-back Patriot League Championships in 2007 and 2008, and again in 2011. Most recently Ronning led Colgate to a 2015 Patriot League Regular Season title. A former Raider himself, Ronning was a fouryear starter and team captain in 1996. He was named First Team All-Patriot League and team MVP his senior season. After graduation, Ronning worked as Colgate’s assistant coach from 1997-2001. Following his stint as a Colgate Assistant, Ronning spent four years at Northwestern University as both an assistant and associate head coach of the men’s soccer program.
