Head Coach, B.J. Dunne BJ Dunne finished his second season as the head coach at Vassar College in 2014-2015. Since becoming Head Coach, Dunne has led the Brewers to new heights. 2013-2014 saw the most successful season in program history. Dunne and his troops earned a program-record 19 wins, finishing second within the Liberty League with a 10-6 mark. Vassar picked up its first-ever Liberty League Tournament victory with a 66-62 win over Skidmore College, and nearly captured the squad’s first-ever Liberty League title with a 75-74 double overtime loss to Hobart College. Dunne and his staff were named as the Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year, and he also mentored three AllLiberty League performers including first-teamer Johnny Mrlik. 2014-2015 was more of a rebuilding year but the Brewers were able to end multiple-year losing streaks against Hamilton College & Hobart College. Dunne leads with passion, energy and enthusiasm and the future is bright for the Vassar Men’s Basketball Program.
