Step 1 — SD Card/Battery Door 

Open the Card/Battery latch by sliding the cover away from the camera in the direction indicated by the arrow.



Move card/battery latch to 90 degrees.

Gently rotate latch 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise then remove it.
