Why are we completing this? To find out what careers might suit you based on your likes and dislikes and the level of career you are aiming for (e.g. graduate level, GCSE level). Knowing what career you might like to do can help you decide: • what subjects to take at school • what university course you should follow or • what apprenticeship to apply for.

Careers Programme Introduction to KUDOS 2. Click on ‘My Profile’. Then change your password. HINT: Use you normal school password as this will be easy to remember 3. Click on ‘My Likes and Dislikes’.
4. Select a qualification level or levels. Everyone should click on Degree at the top as this will show you the most jobs 5. Click ‘Continue’.(at the bottom right of the screen) 6. You will be asked 50 ‘Likes and Dislikes’ questions. Kudos Inspire will suggest careers based on your answers - so be honest! 7. 8. At the end of 50 questions, Kudos Inspire will compare your answers against all its 750 career titles and suggest up to 40 careers that best match your answers. Your Suggested Careers 1. Your best suggestions are near the top of the list – the stars show whether the career is a Very Good, Good, Fair or Questionable match. 2. Look through all the suggestions. Just because a career is further down the list doesn’t mean it isn’t suitable. 3. You can compare key facts about up to three careers by clicking Acknowledgement: on ‘Add to Compare’ and then ‘Compare Careers.’ Using Kudos Inspire to get career suggestions – part 1

4. When you’re done, close the pop-up to return to your list. 5. To find out more about a career, click on it. 6. The ‘Summary’ gives a short explanation of the career. Is it the career you thought it was?
Extension If you’ve only answered 50 questions, Kudos Inspire may not be able to give definite feedback on how suitable a career is. Go back to the careers list and click on the ‘Answer remaining Likes and Dislikes’ button at the top to answer more Likes and Dislikes. The more you answer, the more accurate your career suggestions will be.
