27th November 2017 Dear Parent/Carer Cinema Visit – 22nd December 2017 Kingsmeadow have organised a visit to the Odeon cinema at the Metrocentre for all our students on the last day of term. The cinema have agreed to show the following films:● ● ● ● ● ●
Paddington 2 (PG) £6.00 Murder on the Orient Express (12A) £6.00 Daddy’s Home 2 (12A) £6.00 Pitch Perfect 3 (expected 12) £8.00 Star Wars: The Last Jedi (expected PG) £9.00 There is also a Film Feast Package, where students get popcorn and a drink for £1.50 each.
Students will be expected to make their own way to and from the cinema at the Metrocentre and are allowed to wear their own clothes. They must arrive at the Odeon at 9.00am for registration. Once the cinema has released the times of the films we will be able to inform you by text the expected finish time of the film, when students will make their own way home. Please be advised that all personal belongings including money, cameras and any electrical items are not covered by the school’s insurance and are the responsibility of the individual students. We strongly recommend valuable items are left at home. We also reserve the right to withdraw your son/daughter from the visit due to poor behaviour. If you would like your child to participate in the cinema visit please sign and return the attached consent form and pay the cost of the film (and snack deal if required) to reception by Monday 4 th December As we have to confirm numbers with the cinema we won’t be able to accept any late bookings after this date. If you do not want your child to attend the cinema visit they must attend School where an alternative programme will be put in place until 12.15pm when School closes for the Christmas holidays.
