Dear Parents / Carers I am pleased to be able to offer students the opportunity to participate in a ski-holiday to the Gitschberg - Jochtal – Plose resort in Italy during the February half term 2019. The resort is ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, providing a choice of outstanding ski areas, situated amongst some of the most picturesque landscapes. Please look at the details below and if you would like your child to be considered, please complete and return the acceptance form along with a non-refundable deposit to the Student Post Box, by Friday 16th March 2018.  Location: Gitschberg – Jochtal – Plose Resort, Italy  Duration: 16th February 2019 – 23rd February 2019, to include 5 days skiing / snowboarding  Total Cost: £800 – skiers | £825– snowboarders (this option will only be available if there are at least 8 students of the same ability that can have an instructor)  Included in the Cost: o Coach transport; o 5 hours of fully supervised skiing or snowboarding per day with qualified instructors; o Full board accommodation at the Leierhof Hotel: rooms will be shared between 2 – 4 persons and all have private facilities; o 5 Day ski pass; o An evening entertainment programme; o Ski / Board equipment hire – skis / boards / boots / poles; o Full insurance. The wearing of helmets whilst skiing or snowboarding is a compulsory requirement of the trip. There will be an opportunity to hire ski clothing at a later date, at a small additional cost and it is recommended that students will need approximately £50 maximum pocket money for the week to purchase their drinks, postcards, presents, etc. Places are allocated depending on group sizes, and the student’s ability range. If your child is not successful on this occasion I apologise in advance as the trip is usually very oversubscribed. Payment Details:     

The 1st Deposit Payment should be made payable to ‘Rednock School’. Please do not send in cash payments.

The Tour Company has asked us to make it clear that: ALL PAYMENTS ARE NOT REFUNDABLE ONCE YOUR CHILD HAS BEEN ALLOCATED A PLACE PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNTIL YOU HAVE CONSIDERED AND ACCEPTED THIS CONDITION The cost of the trip quoted above is based on 40 students participating: if numbers fall below 40 it will attract a supplement of at least £20.00 per student. Places on the trip will be allocated depending on group sizes and ability ranges as well as your child agreeing to abide by the School ‘Code of Conduct’ for students on Ski trips.
