Dear Parents / Carers School Clubs I am delighted to present the schedule of After School Clubs for all children in Year 1 to Year 5. As our new Panda Class do not start full time at school until the end of September, provision for this class will be effective from Term 2.

As you will note, clubs for both KS1 and for KS2 will run on all three days. Clubs will change every term in order to reflect a wide curriculum focus and to offer children the opportunity to enjoy a range of activities and skills. I will be running a club for Y5 pupils only later in the year in order to support their preparation for entry to Grammar School. Each club will be limited to 20 places and these will be offered on a “first come first served” basis. A confirmation letter will be sent to all children offered a place at a club. Children are expected to attend their selected club every week; should they not be able to attend then we ask for a letter explaining the reason for absence. This is to protect their space and to act fairly for those children who may be on a waiting list for the club. Should a child not attend a session and no letter has been received then this space will be allocated to the next child on the waiting list. I am sure you will appreciate that demand may be higher than available spaces and we wish to give every child the chance to attend should they wish. Children who do not receive their first choice of club in Term 1 will be given priority for Term 2. Clubs will begin the week commencing Monday 12 September 2016. They will run from 3.30pm – 4.30pm and children may be collected, as usual at the playground gate. Should your child wish to attend one of the above clubs, I would be grateful if you could complete the attached form and hand into Miss Priestley so that she may manage numbers.
