The ASC is here to support students and faculty however we can; we are flexible!
One-time presentations on any topic are not as effective as presentations that connect to a specific part of your course.
We recommend that you bring your FYS students to Babcock Hall for one visit. Students report that becoming familiar with our space is one of the biggest benefits of the FYS/ASC session.
Logistics: May or June is the time to schedule a fall FYS visit at the Academic Support Center! Sessions will include an overview of services and last about 40 minutes. Wednesdays at noon fill up fast; other days and times are encouraged. We are also available to bring workshops to your classroom — a great option for a second session.
