Cathedral Window Quilt Class Supply List

Class Description:

Have you always been intrigued by the Cathedral Window block? Now's your chance to

learn this easy technique! We'll review how to construct a single Cathedral Window block and discuss possible projects. We'll be doing both hand & machine stitching, so plan to bring your sewing machine to class.

Supplies: 

Required Book - “Cathedral Window Quilts” by Lynne Edwards, available at HIQ



9 squares of neutral or light fabric, 8”x 8” each. These will be your “window frames”.



12 squares of medium or dark fabric that coordinate with your “window frame” fabric, 2 3/8” x 2 3/8” each. These will be your “windows”. Please be very precise when measuring and cutting both your window frames & windows.



Presencia 50wt cotton thread that matches your window frame fabric. This thread will be used for your machine

& hand stitching.



Appliqué, Milliners, or Straw Needles, Size 10 – Scarlet Today, John James, Jeana Kimball or Bohin.

Best Press spray starch



Sewing Machine in good working order that you are familiar with operating
