MEN’S SOCCER Recruit ID Camp •

Directed by CBU men’s soccer head coach Gregg Schroeder and CBU men’s soccer assistant Dylan Martinez. Additional staffing will include the CBU men’s soccer goalkeeper coach Jeff Redinger and members of the men’s collegiate soccer team.



Campers receive training and instruction from the CBU coaching staff and peek into campus life at CBU.



This is a great opportunity to show your skills, interact with CBU coaches and get info on “taking the next step” into collegiate soccer and the NCAA.



Camp will be held on the CBU campus.



Open to current high school juniors and seniors and junior college players. Other athletes may participate only by prior written approval from Coach Schroeder ([email protected]).



There is a 50 person cap. Registration will close after the first 50 athletes sign up.

About the Coaches

The 2015 season marked Gregg Schroeder’s third year as the head men’s soccer coach at California Baptist University after spending three previous seasons as the team’s lead assistant. Schroeder joined the Lancers’ staff after playing professionally in the United Soccer League with the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club in North Carolina from 2006-10. While playing for the Eagles, Schroeder received allleague honors his rookie season and led the team to three National Championship games. Prior to his time with the Eagles, Schroeder played professional soccer in Sweden for Ytterby IS in 2005. In his lone season at Ytterby, he was the team points leader in goals and assists. Dylan Martinez finished his third season with the Lancers after coaching stints with both Iowa State and Central College, as well most recently serving as the director of Clean Water Soccer non-profit organization and camp director for the Southern California Seahorses. He also has coaching experience at youth club and high school levels with Ames Soccer Club and Ames HS (200608, 2011-12), and La Mirada HS (2003-04) serving all ages of youth, freshman, JV, and Varsity teams. Martinez played professionally in the Bolivian Premier League with La Paz F.C. in 2006 and four seasons with the Seahorses in the Premier Development League (2003-05, 2013). As a Seahorse he was named to the USL National Team of the Week (Week 9, 2005).
