Located in the heart of Wellington County, Guelph offers visitors and residents critically-acclaimed restaurants and accommodations, entertaining and educational activities, and a wide variety of shopping. Known as the Royal City, Guelph was named after the British Monarch King George IV, who was from the Guelph lineage, a German family.

Speakers’ Corner Denise Marek is known as The Worry Management Expert. She is an international speaker, author of CALM: A Proven Four-Step Process Designed Specifically for Women Who Worry, co-author of The Keys, and television personality. Denise hit the speaking circuit full-time in 1997. American Express, Buffett-Taylor, Canadian Tire, Canada Revenue Agency, TD Canada Trust and Toyota are among the many corporations and groups that have hired Denise to speak. In 2001, Denise was awarded the Toastmasters International Accredited Speaker Award for Professionalism and Outstanding Achievements in Public Speaking. Only 57 individuals worldwide have received this designation. Linda Morgan, MA, founder of The Clic Effect Inc., specializes in action research, dynamic change programs, conflict/ diversity management, organizational culture, and leadership development. She has a diverse background in human systems intervention, adult education, strategic planning, capacity and team building, and change management.

Linda has worked in both unionized and non-unionized environments including private, public, financial, high-tech engineering, insurance, leisure, oil retail, health-care, pharmaceuticals, education, law, and regulatory bodies. She draws from over 15 years of human resources and managerial experience to add to her perspective and understanding of client issues. This varied experience offers creative and customized learning experiences built for the unique needs of each client. Linda is Associate Professor at the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, teaching in the Executive Education Program, a certified Human Systems Dynamics Professional, a Neural Linguistic Programming General Practitioner and a certified Emotional Intelligence Consultant. Carol D. Rice is Owner/Principal Trainer of Essentials Computer Training founded in 1997. Enthusiasm and patience are her trademarks, as she delivers software training solutions in a variety of formats - classroom, walk abouts, desk-side coaching, workshop, customized sessions and online webinars.
