Winemakers Comments: The fact that this wine is made from Chenin Blanc which originates 100% from the Swartland, reflects our faith in this truly unique region. Low yielding bush vines delivered intensely flavoured small berries with ample structure and finesse. Selected batches fermented naturally, adding to the uniqueness of this wine. Through meticulous blending we achieved the perfect balance in our Porcupine Ridge Chenin Blanc, adhering to the philosophy of quality above all else. Tasting Notes: The nose offers an abundance of tropical fruit with aromas of yellow cling peach, fresh pineapple, granadilla and nectarine. The stone fruit of the nose follows through onto the palate with flavours of citrus and quince. The mid-palate is very balanced with good weight and a fresh, yet integrated, lemony acidity. Fresh tropical fruit lingers on the finish with hints of spice and lemon verbena.
