Marcus Wilson has prepared and placed this gelding beautifully and he just keeps rewarding his devoted group of owners with fantastic runs every time he goes around. His last win on January 11th also showed the versatility of the horse. Having drawn wide, his jockey Ryan Wiggins assessed the speed beautifully and had no hesitation to take Cheval Le vent to the lead early in the race. Coming into the straight Charlie drew away from the strong Class 4 field to be a dominant winner in equal track record time. His next start on Saturday 21st January at Eagle Farm will be his last prior to a spell, before returning and being prepared for the Winter Carnival. Charlie you are a beauty!
