Preheat oven to 350oF. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. Cream the butter and brown sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Combine the all-purpose wheat flour, flax flour and baking powder. Add the creamed mixture and chocolate chips to the flour mixture. Stir until completely blended. Scoop the dough, about 2 Tbsp each, (#40 scoop) onto the lined baking sheets. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes. Cool on the pan for several minutes and then move to a rack to cool completely.
