CITY OF BUDA 2014 BOND PROGRAM UPDATE Proposition 3 – Streets Street Improvement Projects

Proposition 3 – Streets Main Street Improvement Update • Project Description: Per direction of City Council

and Bond Advisory Committee, alternative methods of improving capacity during peak hours are being evaluated. Project will incorporate various peak hour capacity, pedestrian/bicycle facilities and drainage improvements with no additional pavement width in the vicinity of Stagecoach Park.

Proposition 3 – Streets Main Street Improvement Update • Update: Evaluation of the

feasibility and cost effectiveness of alternative methods for improving mobility and safety along Main Street such as peak hour reversible lanes and added connectivity from Goforth Road to Cabela’s Drive are underway and finding are to be presented to City Council on July 5th.

negotiated and submitted to City for approval.

Construction Estimate = $889K Construction Budget = $588K

negotiated and submitted to City for approval. • Coordination with HCISD concerning donation of property for ROW and slope easements are in progress.

City Council and Bond Advisory Committee selected the design alternative which separated the Garison Road and San Antonio Road intersections. Corner identified as City ROW. Schematic revised and submitted to City for comment. Supplement for final design plans, specifications & estimate negotiated and submitted to City for approval.
