AUTHORIZE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN VENTURA COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES AGREEMENT AMENDMENT NOT TO EXCEED $106,806
REQUEST Authorize the city manager to sign the Ventura County Animal Services Agreement Amendment No. 2 for the not to exceed amount of $106,806 for FY 2017-18 services. DISCUSSION The City and Ventura County Animal Services (“VCAS”) entered into an agreement for the 2017-18 fiscal year pursuant to which VCAS provides animal sheltering serviced to the City. The agreement identified the cost to the City to provide these services in FY 17/18 in the amount of $74,812.45. This amendment for shelter services for the next fiscal year to a not to exceed amount of $106,806. FISCAL IMPACT Funds were budgeted in the FY 2017-18 budget to cover this. CITY COUNCIL GOAL None RECOMMENDATION Authorize city manager to sign Animal Services Agreement Amendment No. 2. ALTERNATIVES 1.
