Summary Statement:
At February 14, 2017 meeting, City Council considered awarding the base bid and 2 to Grouley Contracting for a total of $430, 496. Because of a funding alternative #
shortage alternate #
1 in the
amount of $
124, 184, was tabled. The total project funding
and cost have been summarized on the attached page. This can be accomplished by not constructing the $ 66, 000 for
shade structures at
Live Oak Park
and
by
providing $ 60, 000
from the unappropriated FY 2016/ 17 uncommitted Capital Fund Appropriation ( total available $235, 740. 45).
Recommended Action:
Staff recommends to authorization to expend $ 60, 000 out of the
2016/ 17 uncommitted capital fund appropriation to be used towards the Live Oak Sports Complex
in the
concession and restrooms and
