3/4 yard of pre-quilted fabric or quilt your own cotton fabric using ByAnnie's Soft and Stable™ (preferred) - front, back, sides, bottom 1 1/4 yards of fabric A (lining, front pocket, zipper flange, French braid) 1/4 yard of fabric B (binding and French braid) 2 fat quarters (French braid) 1/4 yard of mesh fabric or cotton fabric (side pockets) 1/2 yard of thin fusible fleece 1 yard fusible webbing 14" sports separating zipper 2 1/2 yards nylon strap webbing 1" wide Wash Away™ Wonder Tape 1/4" Steam-A-Seam 2© fusible webbing
Pattern: On the Go Organizing Tote by HopeSew Sewing Machine with a power cord, foot control, walking foot, edge joining foot (#10), Open Toe (#20), zipper foot (#4) Rotary Cutting Supplies: Mat (at least 18”x24”), ruler, and rotary cutter (45mm in size) Basic Sewing Supplies: to include a Frixion pen or another pencil, glass head pins, tape measure, and seam ripper 100% cotton 40wt. thread for construction in a coordinating color New size 80/12 universal or microtex sharp and 90 Topstitch sewing machine needle
Prior to class, please prepare the following: Please arrive early, have your project supplies, and your sewing area ready for class to begin on time. Cut 27”X 32" of outside fabric and soft and stable. Layer together and quilt as you desire. DO NOT CUT ANY PIECES OUT once it is quilted! I added an extra 1" to width so the file frame would fit into bag easier. Optional: Hanging file folder frame for inside the bag:
