CAMP PHILOSOPHY Dear Parents and Campers: Thank you for choosing the Clayton Greyhound Basketball Camp. The Clayton Greyhound Basketball Camp is dedicated to help you become the best basketball player you can be. During your five days at camp you will be put through skill development drills which will help prepare you for your upcoming season. Many camps focus on playing games and do not offer quality on court instruction. At the Clayton Greyhound Basketball Camp your individual skill development is our primary focus. The skills we will focus on developing this summer are: -Shooting Technique -Ball Handling and scoring on the move
CAMP EVENTS We will measure the skills that our campers have developed through a number of skill contests and competitive game situations. The following games and contests will occur during camp: -Hot Shot Shooting Contest -Free Throw Shooting Contest -Ball Handling Competitions -Various Shooting Contests -One on One Competition -4 on 4 Competition
-Passing and Cutting -Perimeter and Post Offensive Skills -Man to Man Defensive Principles -Rebounding -Proper Offensive and Defensive Footwork -Skill Development in Game Situations
CAMP INFORMATION
Campers will receive instruction from the Clayton High School coaching staff, Greyhound basketball alumni, and members of the Greyhound basketball team.
Lunches Campers can bring a sack lunch (refrigeration available) or can bring money for Subway. Campers will be escorted to the Subway located in the Center of Clayton where they can purchase a lunch.
All Campers will receive: Greyhound Basketball T-Shirt Greyhound Camp Basketball Greyhound Basketball Water Bottle
