Please list all roles and responsibilities expected from the intern (job description may be attached): The Brenner Family Early Learning Center teaching staff has the educational qualifications, knowledge, and professional commitment necessary to promote children’s learning and development __________________________________________________________________________________________ and to support families’ diverse needs and interests. Assistant Teachers have the educational qualifications, knowledge, dedication to learning, and professional commitment necessary to promote __________________________________________________________________________________________ children and their families as they learn and develop. The assistant teacher supports the development and implementation of a quality educational program reflecting the goals and values of the school. The assistant teacher contributes __________________________________________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________________________________________ knowledge and insight, ideas and creativity to the teaching team. The assistant teacher brings a love of children and of learning and commitment to introducing children to a supportive, creative Jewish learning environment, and is well versed in child development.
What qualities are you looking for in an intern? A strong passion for Jewish communal work with a motivation to gain an understanding of all aspects that makes a Jewish Federation successful. High school diploma __________________________________________________________________________________________ and be enrolled in a secondary educational program. Ability to relate to young children and adults, strong desire for continued learning and growth, ability to carry out assigned tasks, accepting supervision and acting independently __________________________________________________________________________________________ as needed, meet background check and health requirements, good character and reputation. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Any other information the JFGH or candidates should know regarding the internship. JFGH Early Learning Center Internship will provide applicants with a strong background in areas required for success in a career in early learning. Course credit may apply. __________________________________________________________________________________________ The intern is expected to work a minimum of 15 hours per week up to 35 hours maximum.
