Affiliation & Team entry forms and payment in full are due to the VAI Office at the below address for all divisions (including Premier) by the date stated above. Player Registration Deposit amount is offset against individual player registration fees (maximum of 8 unwaged players). Affiliation & Team entry forms will not be processed without accompanying payment in full. Payment can be made by cheque, postal order (both made out to the “Volleyball Association of Ireland”), or by PayPal (VAI’s PayPal account e-mail address is “[email protected]”) A team will not be allowed to compete unless: a) the team is registered by a club which affiliates with the VAI for the 2016/17 season; b) the above total and any outstanding fees are paid in full (including any fines from the previous season); and c) details of the Club Secretary, Children’s Officer, Vetting Validation Officer and a nominated Commission or Board Volunteer (new clubs are exempt) are listed on this form. Details of coaches and referees are required before the commencement of the season for insurance purposes. The Club Secretary, by signing this form, is agreeing to serve in an active role as the nominated club representative responsible for official VAI correspondence. All clubs must purchase their Public Liability Insurance through the VAI, please see separate form available on the VAI website

 

 When your Children’s Officer has attended a Code of Ethics Awareness Course, he/she will receive a Certificate Number. This Certificate Number must be received by the VAI Office prior to the start of National League competition.  This new role follows the enactment of new Garda vetting laws. This person will require training to be provided by the VAI and attendance is mandatory. ɸ Your nominated volunteer must be prepared to be an active member of a commission or be co-opted to the board from August 2016 until July 2017 (please note Board members must be appointed at an AGM or EGM). “Our club hereby consents and agrees that by registering with the VAI, the Club and its members shall comply with and be bound by the Rules and Regulations of the VAI (comprising of the Competition Rules, VAI Constitution & Bye-Laws of the VAI) and the directions and decisions of the VAI (including the judicial bodies recognised under the Irish Anti-Doping Rules1) and the Code of Ethics for Children in Sport.”
