Holidays and Direct Deposit The Clubs office will be closed December 17 to January 2 (opening on Jan 3). No club funding, room bookings, free pop, or other requests can be processed during this time. Both clubs areas will be open regular hours until Dec 22. Stay warm and enjoy your holiday break! As of January 2017, all club funding reimbursements will be in the form of Direct Deposit. What a time to be alive! All funding reimbursement requests now require a club bank statement or void cheque showing branch number, transit number, account number, and club name. Not too much to ask to make sure you get your money! Club funding reimbursements will be processed every two weeks. More information on club funding is available on the clubs website. Now rejoice, for exams are nearly done and club funding has been made better by your Students’ Union!

Clubs Week It’s never too early to be prepared. I think Yoda said that. Regardless of whether you trust quotes pulled from the internet, Winter 2017 Clubs Week runs January 16-19 in MacHall. Clubs may request up to two full days using this form, which opens January 2 at 8:30am. All requests are first-come, first served. But wait, there’s more...

Foothills Clubs Day Want more exposure for your club? Our trusty SU Medicine Reps have set up a day for clubs to meet students at Foothills campus on January 12 from 10:00am to 2:00pm. Space is extremely limited. Clubs may request a table using this form, which opens January 2 at 8:30am. Don’t let the distance deter you. The SU is offering club stuff pick-up and drop-off services for all clubs that sign up. Bring your trifold to the Clubs Office by 4:30pm on January 11 to have it delivered to Foothills campus for you to set up. We’ll even bring it back to the clubs office for you after the event, so all you have to do is get down, set up, and show off!

January ClubHub 101 Mandatory for clubs that registered after September (and any other clubs that did not send two representatives to sessions in September), ClubHub 101 will go through all of the requirements and benefits of registering your club with the SU. Emails have been sent to registered clubs that need to attend. If your club does not show up in the Clubs Week table request form, it’s likely because you missed this requirement in the fall. Four sessions are scheduled for the winter semester: January 24 & 25 at 10:00am or 1:00pm. All sessions are in Cassio A/B (map). Two execs from each club that didn’t attend a September session must come to one (and only one) of these sessions. Bring a laptop to follow along!
