• In 2013 the area of thinnings and regeneration fellings was 703,835 hectares, 3.1% of the forest area. • During 2001–2013 the annual area of thinnings and regeneration fellings was 599,000 ha in average. • The total commercial felling of pulpwood amounted to 32.3 million m³ and of logs 23.8 million m³ in 2013.
