This storyboard is an attempt to capture the true meaning of community visioning to determine what residents value the most and want to preserve, and what physical attributes or programs they believe should be improved or developed in the future. We tried to include as many attendees as possible, so that anyone reading this storyboard summary will quickly see that the participants came from a variety of backgrounds and community connections. Participants were selected from the following community categories: Business, Civic Groups, Community Garden, Education, Faith-Based Organizations, Government, Municipal, Senior Citizens, Youth, Sustainable Organizations, and Unknown Affiliations. The participants’ makeup by gender was 48% Male and 58% Female, with the following Age categories - Under 25: 7%; 25-34: 7%; 35-44: 21%; 45-54: 21%; Over 55: 44%. Our facilitators were sourced from Sustainable Cherry Hill and Sustainable Camden County, and invited guests representing Environmental Commissions, Green Teams and Civic Groups came from Audubon, Brooklawn, Haddonfield, Pennsauken, Stratford and Camden County. Thank you all for providing your time, expertise and thoughts in preparing what will serve as a benchmark for future decisions by each of the community category groups that participated in this workshop.
