This doesn't include the long list of individual state championships like 2015's State Diving Champion Matt McCool or Individual Tennis Champion Caroline Pozo. Adding both team and individual State Championships creates a long list that is even longer if you add in the various MSHSAA Final Four finishes. Included in the count of Team Championships is 4 Girls Volleyball Titles in a row. Lafayette HS also fields some of the best fine art performance groups in the area; bringing top MSHSAA ratings back from group and solo ensemble competition, along with Marching Band. Besides maintaining a consistent expectation for competition, the Lancers have found academic success with a Overall Team GPA of 3.52.

Conference  Highlights Suburban West National Division Seckman The Seckman Wrestling program has had a lot of success the past several years. They have been able to bring back 3 state trophies in past 5 years (2011 4th Place, 2012 3rd Place, and 2015 4th Place). The Jaguars have won 4 out of the last 5 District Championships, 4 Suburban South Conference Championships, and a Suburban West -‐ National Division Championship. 2015 was highlighted with a 4th Place finish at the state tournament with 4 state medalist (Weston Basler-‐ State Champ, Luke Weiland and Cameron Fusco-‐ Runner-‐Up, and Zack Durbin-‐ 5th). The Jaguars won their 4th District Championship in 5 years. The Jaguars took home first place in the All St. Louis Suburban Wrestling Championship and 4 out of the last 5. They had 4 individual champions at the ASLSWC: Cameron Fusco, Zack Durbin, Luke Weiland (Outstanding Wrestler Award), and Cole Jenkins. The program has been lead by one of the best coaching staffs in the area, if not the state. Cody Greene has recently stepped down to fulfill other possible life challenges, but has been nothing less than amazing leading this program. His predecessor, Ryan Moyer, will be able to continue what Greene has done the last 5 years. The Seckman Wrestling Program has been lucky to have an incredible fan base that includes former alumni and Little League Wrestlers striving to be a Jaguar. This family aspect has definitely contributed to the success and is visible in any wrestling tournament or match in which they compete. The wrestlers in this program have the support and coaching to reach all of their goals. Their main goal is simple, compete and bring home a state championship.

Suburban  XII  South  Division Webster  Groves The  2014-‐2015  school  year  was  a  very  successful   one  for  the  athletic  programs  at  Webster  Groves   High  School.    Our  boys  soccer  team  led  the  way   by  winning  their  first  district  championship  since   1987  and  going  on  to  win  the  MSHSAA  Class  3   state  championship;  our  first  soccer  state   championship  in  school  history.    The  boys  soccer   team  finished  the  season  with  a  12  game  winning   streak  and  an  overall  record  of  24-‐5-‐1.    The   Statesmen  were  led  offensively  by  junior   Sheriden  Smith  who  scored  20  goals  on  the   season,  but  a  strong  defense  is  what  carried  the   team  with  17  of  their  24  wins  coming  by  shutout.     Perhaps  the  best  thing  about  our  boys  soccer   team's  state  championship  season  is  that  they  did   it  with  13  juniors  on  the  roster  who  will  be   returning  to  defend  their  championship  as   seniors  this  fall.    The  Webster  Groves  High  School   girls  soccer  team  also  had  an  outstanding  season.     The  girls  amassed  a  record  of  28-‐3  and  advanced   to  the  state  final  four  for  the  first  time  since  1987   taking  3rd  place  in  Class  3.    The  girls  team  also   set  a  state  record  with  24  shutouts  this  season.     Finally,  we  had  two  other  teams  place  well  in   state  competition.    Our  girls  lacrosse  team   advanced  to  their  final  four  before  losing  in  the   state  semifinal  and  our  girls  track  team  placed   5th  at  the  state  meet  barely  missing  a  top  four   placement  by  half  a  point.    We  are  looking   forward  to  another  great  school  year  and  high   expectations  for  our  teams  in  2015-‐2016.
