CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS – RIVERTON BASEBALL REVISED 4/21/2018 ARTICLE I: NAME This organization will be known as Riverton Babe Ruth League (D.B.A. Riverton Baseball), a Utah Non-Profit Corporation. ARTICE II: OBJECTIVE Riverton Babe Ruth League, a Utah Non-Profit Corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. Riverton Baseball exists to provide baseball experiences for children of the city of Riverton. We believe that all children should be afforded the opportunity to participate in a level of baseball commiserate with their playing experience and current skill level. To these ends, we have formed two divisions in our league. The first division is the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken division (which will be referred to as BRCR for the remainder of this document). The second division is the In-Tact Division. This document contains the bylaws that will govern overarching Riverton Baseball League and each of these separate divisions. ARTICLE III: GENERAL LEAGUE POLICIES The following are basic policies of this league: 1. The Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken division of the league will operate according to the rules and regulations set forth by the Babe Ruth League, Inc. 2. Any division of the league not chartered by Babe Ruth, Inc. will operate according to the rules mutually agreed upon by all parties participating in that division that are approved by the elect board or Riverton Baseball. 3. All Bylaws and Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the elect board at any given time of the calendar year. 4. 2. To achieve our objective by providing supervised competitive athletic games. The Managers and coaches shall bear in mind that the attainment of exceptional athletic skill or inning of games is secondary, and the molding of future men/women is of prime importance. 5. 3. The board of directors shall have the authority to suspend any member or Manager whose conduct is considered detrimental to the best interest of the league. 6. 4. The President, upon evidence of the misconduct of any boy/girl in relation to the league, shall, within 48 hours, notify the player agent and the Manager of the team of which the boy/girl is a member.
7. 5. Said Manager or the player agent, or both, shall appear in the capacity of an advisor, with the boy/girl, before at least three appointed members of the Board of Directors within three days of act, for disciplinary action. Said disciplinary action will consist of: a. Warning b. Probation, or c. Expulsions 8. Any Manager, coach, fan, or team member ejected from a game by an umpire may be placed on a one - (1) game suspension, which shall be the next consecutive game. Managers and spectators that are ejected will not be allowed on the Riverton Baseball grounds, (13800 South 3600 West) for the next consecutive game. If they are unable to attend the very next game, they will be required to miss the next game that they would be able to attend. All suspensions will be reviewed by the elect board. a. After ejection, players ejected will be required to be in attendance and will be required to sit the bench. If they are unable to attend the very next game, the first game back they will be required to sit the bench. 9. Refund Policy a. Players are eligible to receive a full refund if request is made before the date of the tryout/draft.. b. Requests made after the draft, but no later than 1 week following the draft will be eligible for a 50% refund. c. No Refunds will be given after 1 week following the draft. d. Appeals can be made to the elect board after that date. ARTICLE IV: FINANCIAL POLICIES 1. Bi - Yearly financial review will be conducted by the league treasurer beginning the end of the fiscal year 2017. 2. Applicable IRS forms (Form 990) will be filed yearly. 3. Yearly Budgets will be prepared. 4. The General Elect Board of Riverton Baseball shall decide all matters pertaining to the finances of the league and it shall be the policy to place all income in a common league treasury, directing the expenditures of same in such a manner as to give no individual or team an advantage over others as to equipment, etc. 5. It shall be the policy of the league to accept bids, whenever possible, for the purchase of all goods and services. 6. No purchases are to be made without prior approval of the Board of Directors. Any equipment ordered without prior approval is subject to cancellation or payment to be made by the individual placing the order. 7. Any purchase not previously budgeted for or for new purchases of $500 or more must have a vote of at least three elect board members. 8. Accounts will be set up at multiple suppliers where available. Reimbursement to Board Members must be accompanied by a receipt and will be made by a check – NO CASH
WILL BE GIVEN or no reimbursement will be made without a receipt or proof or purchase (credit card receipt). 9. The Fiscal year of the league shall be January 1, and end December 31. ARTICLE V: MEETINGS 1. League Meetings: The annual meeting of the league members shall be conducted as part of the season’s award presentations. Meetings may be held at any point during the year as needed. 2. All league records (bylaws, minutes, financial documents, etc.) shall be turned over to the newly elected officers at the end of the fiscal year. (No later than August 31ST) 3. At the end of the fiscal year the newly elected officers shall assume league responsibilities. 4. General Elect Board Meetings – A General Elect Board meeting shall be held as soon after the annual meeting as possible in order to formulate plans and goals for the ensuing year. 5. The General Elect Board members in attendance shall constitute a quorum at any properly called meeting and a majority vote of those present shall govern with the exception of a bylaw amendment. 6. A Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Board meeting shall be held prior to the time tryouts are held for the main purpose of appointment of Managers. 7. With the appointment of, and acceptance by, Managers as additional members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Directors shall then be comprised of the Managers and the Board of Directors. 8. An annual All - Star meeting will be held by the Riverton Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Board to determine All - Star Coaches, Tryouts , Uniforms, etc. ARTICLE VI: MEMBERSHIP 1. All residents who reside within Riverton City are allowed to play in any Riverton Baseball League offering provided they: i. Sign up, either online or in person, by the closing time of the last in-person registration session. ii. Pay the appropriate fees, make payment arrangements, or receive a partial or full fee waiver by the Riverton Baseball Board. iii. Are selected, after a tryout, for both pre-formed team options (CRBR National League or In-Tact League). b. Non-Resident participants will be allowed on the basis that: i. Their participation does not displace Riverton City Residents or limit them from playing in at least two games per week. ii. Their participation does not render a team in a Riverton Baseball offering ineligible for tournament tracks in the offering for which they are applying to play.
iii. The total number of non-resident players will be limited to no more than 15% of the total league makeup. 1. Players who have been grandfathered in through continuous play in our league prior to adjustments in our boundary due to Herriman, South Jordan, and Eagle Mountain will not be considered non-resident participants. c. No child will be discriminated against or disallowed to play based on race, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, or ability to pay. 2. Removal of participants due to field space shortages a. We do not anticipate reaching field space capacities. In the unlikely event that we do, the following will be the order of removal of participants from our league: i. In-Tact team with the lowest percentage of resident participants 1. If teams are tied, we will place team names in a hat and have a public drawing of the team to be removed ii. Non-Resident recreation participants 1. We will place the name of all non-resident participants in a hat and draw until the number of participants is reached that will bring the league back within field space capacities ARTICLE VII: GOVERNMENT All Divisions of Riverton Baseball will be overseen by a general elect board. Any decisions that involve finances must be approved by the General Elect Board of Riverton Baseball. 1. Riverton Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Board Responsibilities a. Serve as sole source of communication between Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken State and National representatives and Riverton baseball. g. Resolve waiver boundary requests with the State Board h. These bylaws may be amended at any Riverton Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Board of Directors meeting by a two - thirds vote of the members present and that the amendment shall not conflict with Babe Ruth Baseball, Inc. rules and regulations. 2. ARTICLE VIII: BABE RUTH/CAL RIPKEN GENERAL RULES 1. The official playing rules, as published by the Babe Ruth League, Inc. organization, shall be binding on the league in divisions chartered by Babe Ruth, Inc. These bylaws and rules supersede all other rules. 2. Once teams are filled, a waiting list will be generated for any late sign ups. Any returning player that signs up after the draft has taken place will be placed on the next team with availability according to the draft order. Special circumstances will be considered by the board. 3. Players requesting to play up, must be present at tryouts. If they are not present at tryouts, the player may be returned the appropriate age division. If returned to their appropriate age division and are not on a returning team, they will be placed into the hat for the draft. 4. Any player playing “up” to the next age group shall play that age group for all teams they play on (i.e. Allstars, etc.). Players playing up may only play up 1 age group, with the exception of T - Ball, Rookie 5 and Rookie 6. This does not apply to National Division.
5. Practice times will be established and drawn the night of the draft. Team Practices on the playing fields will not be allowed after the first regular season game. 6. When possible we will schedule preseason developmental games as practice games with developmental umpires. 7. Each Home Team will be responsible for providing someone to run the scoreboards during their game. 8. Any Disciplinary actions taken against a player by a coach must be approved prior to game time by the league president or division V.P. ( i e. missed practice, improper behavior, etc.) 9. Any team playing with less than nine (9) players will take one (1) automatic out per missing player with a maximum of two (2) automatic outs. Automatic outs will be placed in a line - up batting position. Where they must remain for the rest of the game, or until a player shows up to replace the automatic out. A forfeit will only take place when a non - rostered player takes the field. 10. Physical violence of any kind will not be tolerated. The elect board will determine disciplinary action. Possible probation or expulsion may occur in extreme cases. 11. Rule violations in a game may result in a forfeit, upon approval by the Board of directors. 12. 1st and 2nd place teams will be determined by win percentage. This can be calculated by dividing the total number of wins by the total of games played. Losses and Ties will both count as losses. In the event of a tie between two teams at the end of the season, when at all possible a tie breaker game will be scheduled. If it is not possible to schedule a tiebreaker game, the teams will be co - champions. If more than two teams are tied, all teams will be co - champions. Trophies will be given for all 1st and 2nd place teams. 13. The end of a game is determined by one of the following: a. Ten - run rule after four (4) innings b. Ten - run rule in the last inning (See Specific Divisions Below) c. No New Inning Rule based on time limits (See Specific Divisions Below) d. Time has not expired, but six (6) innings (Cal Ripken 12u and Under) have been completed. (Babe Ruth 13u and Up completion is seven (7) innings.) e. No extra innings will be played. 14. Each Coach is responsible for providing a scorekeeper at each game. They will also be responsible for keeping a pitch count for all of their pitchers during the game. Pitch count sheets must be kept with the score books. The pitch count totals must be entered into the score book after each game. Both score books must be signed by coaches. Forms will be provided on the website for download and at the snack shack. a. Failure by the coach to keep pitch counts and scorebooks may result in suspension of the coach and/or forfeit of the game. 15. Baseball with a machine to pitch: The game should be played using the same rules that apply to baseball. The reason for using the machine is to get the player to hit the ball. This will give each player the opportunity to see good pitches, as well as the fielders to have to field the ball to get the player out. It will also promote six (6)
inning games. The following rules need to be added to insure that the game is fair to all players: a. All fielders must play at normal playing depth. b. The umpire will call the game while putting the ball in the machine. c. Runners may not advance to home plate on a passed ball by the catcher upon receiving a pitch from the machine. Runners may advance to home on an over throw from the catcher to bases or pitcher. Stealing can be done on all other bases in. Stealing is not allowed in the five and six year old Machine Pitch Leagues. d. The catcher will be in gear to catch and return the ball to the player that plays the pitcher position. e. The pitcher will be required to play on one side or the other of the machine with the player standing no closer than the wheel on the pitching machine. f. The pitcher cannot advance towards the batter until the ball has passed the plate. g. The umpire, as in regular baseball will call balls and strikes. Batters may not “walk” off the pitching machine. The machine may be adjusted at any time if deemed necessary by the umpire. h. Sides change when there are three (3) outs or when a team gets seven (7) runs. i. Pitching machine rules may be changed at any time during the season with a majority board vote. 16. An adult spotter must be used for all pitchers warming up on the bullpens, located on the playing field. 17. The official start of the season is the day of the tryout/draft. 18. Every attempt will be made to make up games due to rain outs. However, if field space or time is not available, rainouts may not be made up. In the event that a game has been partially completed and there is not availability to make up that game, it will be considered a complete game as played. It will revert back to the last complete inning and be considered complete. 19. When possible an end of season tournament will be played. Any end of season tournament will not be considered regular season play. 20. Any championship game will not end in a tie. When necessary California/International tie breaker rule will be used. 21. Developmental games will be added to the schedule in the PeeWee, Minor and Major divisions as field space will allow. a. Developmental games will not count in the standings. b. In developmental games, there will be a four run per inning rule. c. In developmental games, there will be a no new inning after 90 min. rule. d. In developmental games, Pitchers do not have to be removed after 2 trips to the mound. However, excessive trips to the mound will be determined at the discretion of the umpire. e. Umpires will be used.
f. In developmental games, coaches are strongly encouraged to develop players in new positions. Including pitchers and catchers. 22. All catchers, regardless of age division, must wear catchers gear including a protective cup. 23. The following ages will be used to determine eligibility in each playing division. The age of a player is determined by their age on April 30th of each playing season. T-Ball Rookie 5

National Allstar teams shall be organized as follows, teams may be added or deleted with board approval American All - Stars tryouts shall be picked through a nomination by peer, additional players may be added as approved by the Board of Directors. Players playing up during the season are only eligible to play up 1 age group. Those players will only be eligible for the Allstar team of the age that they have been playing up in during the season. This does not apply for National Division Teams. The American All - Star coaches will also be chosen by the Board of Directors. Allstar Head Coaches will be chosen from the Head Coaches of the regular season teams. In the event that regular season Head Coaches are not available, Rostered Assistant Coaches may be chosen. Allstar Coaches and/or National Teams that have met the eligibility requirements will be selected based on the following criteria: a. Standings – Tournaments as well as Overall Season Standings b. League Support – Including but not limited to Fundraisers, volunteerism, etc. c. Representation of Riverton Baseball – Including but not limited to Sportsmanship on and off the field d. Each American Allstar team will have a minimum of twelve (12) nominated players with a maximum of thirteen (13). When an Allstar coach is nominated he has the option of taking his son or daughter as the 13th player. If coach’s son or daughter has been nominated as one of the twelve (12) players then the player count will remain at twelve (12). Unless approved by the board. e. Elected Allstar Coaches and players must commit to coach or play in the Allstar tournaments scheduled by the league. Failure to do so will result in disqualification for future All - Star Coaching opportunities or play (refer to Article III section C). The league may donate money to any Allstar team to travel outside of Utah for regional tournaments. Amounts to be determined upon budget for the current year. Travel expenses for regional tournaments held in Utah will be brought before the Board to determine the amount to be given.
7. Fundraisers for Allstar teams may be done with Elect Board Approval. ARTICLE X – CAL RIPKEN/BABE RUTH NATIONAL LEAGUE 1. Any National League team consisting of 9 - 15 players may register to play as a team. These teams must provide their own uniforms. National League teams must add the Cal Ripken patch to their uniforms. 2. National League teams that have less than 12 players that wish to pick up additional players can do so through private tryouts. The league will post information for such tryouts, but will have no part of otherwise helping National League teams to find players. 3. All National League players must be within the Riverton Baseball boundaries or obtain a waiver from the Utah State Babe Ruth board to be considered for Allstars. 4. End-of-Season tournaments may be provided by the state. In the event that these tournaments are provided, awards will be determined by the leagues who host these tournaments. 5. To be considered for Allstars as a National team they must place 1st or 2nd place in the Overall Season Standings or End of Season Tournament. 6. 6Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken National League teams MUST play by the Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken Rules (including bats, field dimensions, playing rules, etc.) ARTICLE XI – AGE SPECIFIC BABE RUTH/CAL RIPKEN PLAYING RULES 1. 16-17 Year Old League a. Players must be 16 - 17 years old, at the time of regular signups, 15 year olds will be placed on a waiting list until after the second official signup day. If space is available following the second official signup day, 15 year olds will be placed in the draft. We will play according to the Babe Ruth League Rules. b. Any special requests for any player to play for or with a specific coach/player or not play for or with a specific coach/player must be made in writing prior to tryouts. All approvals will be made by a committee not including board members coaching or with children playing in such age group. c. There will be unlimited defensive substitutions, but no player may sit more than one (1) consecutive inning. Coaches may have the option to bat their complete line up or bat only 9. However, this must be declared with the umpire, opposing coach and scorekeepers prior to the game. This decision may not be changed during the game. d. No new inning will begin after an hour and fifty minutes for each game each night. The end of an inning is the third out of the home team. e. A ten - run rule shall apply after 5 innings if the visiting team is ahead or 4 ½ innings if the home team is ahead. f. If a pitcher pitches more than 45 pitches in a day a 24 hr. rest period is required. If a pitcher pitches more than 75 pitches in a game, a 48 hr. rest period is required. A pitcher can pitch no more than 105 pitches per game (finish the batter) or 10 innings
in a week (Monday - Sunday). One pitch in an inning counts as one inning pitched. Warm up pitches are not to be counted in the Pitch Count. g. Any pitcher may re - enter the game as a pitcher provided that he wasn’t removed on the 2nd trip to the mound in an inning. A pitcher may only re - enter as a pitcher one time per game. h. In the event of game(s) rained out the following rules shall apply: If the league has even numbered games, no byes exist in the schedule, and the games are scheduled any time during the week, they will be rescheduled as soon as dates are made available to be made up. If the game is pushed into the following week, the pitching rules apply as if the games were being played in the week in which it was rained out. i. All Babe Ruth teams can be chartered in the State Babe Ruth National /American League Program. Teams may also choose to participate in inter-league play options that are not chartered by Babe Ruth, Inc. b. All games chartered by Babe Ruth, Inc. will be governed by the State Babe Ruth National /American League Bylaws. c. Any National League team consisting of 9 - 15 players may register to play as a team. To be considered a National League team they must have a minimum of 9 players. National and teams must provide their own uniforms. They are not provided by the league. National League teams must add the Babe Ruth patch to their uniforms. d. National teams that have less than 12 players that wish to pick up additional players can do so through private tryouts. The league will post information for such tryouts, but will have no part of otherwise helping National League teams to find players. e. Teams coming in without Pre-Selected players (National teams or players requesting to play with a specific player or coach) with the exception of Coaches and Assistant Coaches’ players, will be treated as expansion teams. They will alternate picks for the first two rounds of the draft and will continue to pick until they reach the same numbers of players on as the closest Pre-Selected team. Draft order will be determined by the number of players on a team, smallest to largest. Draft will continue un a serpentine manner until all players have been drafted. f. In the case of “Drafting Sibling” (Meaning that there are siblings that are both trying out and one of them is not already a returning player), the Elect Board will determine which round the siblings are drafted in. This is determined by the number of players in the division, number of players drafting and number of returning players already on teams. This will be decided prior to the draft beginning. g. Returning Player Siblings will be automatically added to the rosters and considered a returning player for drafting purposes. h. .Players must be within the Riverton Baseball boundaries or plan on attending a High School within the Riverton Baseball boundaries in order to play in the American
League or National League options unless other requirements are determined by the state board. i. State Babe Ruth will be responsible for all schedules for teams participating in the National or American Leagues. They will also keep standings, but no trophies will be provided by the state. Standings provided by the State will be used for seeding in the Riverton Baseball end of season tournament. j. An end of season tournament will be played in each Babe Ruth Division. Tournament will be double elimination as field space allows. k. End of Season Awards will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams, based on the end-ofseason tournament finish. (American and National Combined) 3. 14/15 Year Old League a. Players must be 14 - 15 years old as of April 30th. b. Any special requests for any player to play for or with a specific coach/player or not play for or with a specific coach/player must be made in writing prior to tryouts. All approvals will be made by a committee not including board members coaching or with children playing in such age group. (American League ONLY) c. There will be unlimited defensive substitutions, but no player may sit more than one (1) consecutive inning. Coaches may have the option to bat their complete line up or bat only 9. However, this must be declared with the umpire, opposing coach and scorekeepers prior to the game. This decision may not be changed during the game. d. No new inning will begin after an hour and fifty minutes for each game each night. The end of an inning is the third out of the home team. e. Ten - Run rule shall apply after 5 innings if the visiting team is ahead or 4 ½ innings if the home team is ahead. f. NO pitcher shall pitch more than 95 pitches in a game (finish the batter) or 7 innings in a calendar week (Monday - Sunday). If a pitcher pitches more than 45 pitches in a game, a 24 hour rest is required. If a pitcher pitches more than 75 pitches in a game, a 48 hr. rest period is required. One pitch in an inning counts as one inning pitched. Warm up pitches are not to be counted in the Pitch Count. Any pitcher may re - enter the game as a pitcher provided that he wasn’t removed on the 2nd trip to the mound in an inning. A pitcher may only re - enter as a pitcher one time per game. g. In the event of game(s) rained out the following rules shall apply: If the league has even numbered games, no byes exist in the schedule, and the games are scheduled any time during the week, they will be rescheduled as soon as dates are made available to be made up. If the game is pushed into the following week, the pitching rules apply as if the games were being played in the week in which it was rained out. h. The line - up must be turned into the head scorekeeper five minutes prior to the starting of the game. g. Ten - run rule after four innings (three and a half innings if home team is ahead). The seven-run rule per inning shall apply. In the event a batter hits a home run all runs will count. h. Pitchers can pitch no more than 4 innings or 50 pitches per calendar day and no more than 6 innings per week. One pitch in an inning counts as one inning pitched. Warm up pitches are not to be counted in the Pitch Count. i. If the pitcher hits 50 pitches during a batter, the pitcher may finish pitching to that batter. Once the batter is complete, a pitching substitution must be made. j. Any pitcher may re - enter the game as a pitcher provided that he wasn’t removed on the 2nd trip to the mound in an inning. A pitcher may only re - enter as a pitcher one time per game. k. In the Pee Wee League Ten (10) Players will play the field. The 10th player must play a rover position maintaining a normal playing depth in the outfield. Additional infielders will not be permitted. l. A base runner must return to third if they make an attempt back to the base. In the case of an overthrow, the runner may advance. m. In the event of game(s) rained out all attempts will be made to re - schedule base on field availability. Make up games are not guaranteed. ARTICLE XII – RULES FOR LEAGUE OFFERINGS NOT CHARTERED BY BABE RUTH/CAL RIPKEN 1. Intact League – All Ages a. Team Eligibility i. 2017 – All new teams must have at least 50% of their players from the Riverton Baseball Boundary ii. 2018 – All new teams must have at least 60% of their players from the Riverton Baseball Boundary (players grandfathered due to continuous play in our league from the boundary before Herriman, Bingham, and Eagle Mountain count as boundary players). iii. 2019 – All new teams must have at least 70% of their players from the Riverton Baseball Boundary (players grandfathered due to continuous play in our league from the boundary before Herriman, Bingham, and Eagle Mountain count as boundary players). iv. 2020 – All new teams must have at least 80% of their players from the Riverton Baseball Boundary (players grandfathered due to continuous play in
our league from the boundary before Herriman, Bingham, and Eagle Mountain count as boundary players). v. 2021 and After – All new teams must have at least 90% of their players from the Riverton Baseball Boundary (players grandfathered due to continuous play in our league from the boundary before Herriman, Bingham, and Eagle Mountain count as boundary players). b. All playing rules for this league are developed by a consensus of all leagues participating in the Intact League. 2. Six Year Old Machine Pitch League a. Players be 4, 5 or 6 years old. Players that are 4 or 5 must get a waiver signed at sign ups. b. Score keeping must be kept all season. c. After the 4th week of the season, standings will be kept. The standings will determine the seeding in the end of year tournament. d. Teams are encouraged to use a coach/parent to umpire game. e. Players will be divided evenly between all teams. All players will play the field. The six infield positions (pitcher, catcher, first base, second base, third base, and shortstop) will have one player per position, played at normal depth and no closer than the base line. The remaining players will be positioned in the outfield but no closer than 5 feet behind the bases. f. Pitching machine will be used; balls and strikes will be counted. The pitching machine will be set at 40 feet and a speed of 35 mph. The machine is not to be adjusted unless there is an obvious malfunction, and then both coaches need to agree on the final adjustment. g. Each batter will be pitched a maximum of 6 pitches. If there is a foul ball on the last pitch, the batter will receive another pitch. If the batter does not successfully record a hit it is recorded as a strikeout, and the batter returns to the end of the batting order. Strikeouts do not count as a fielding out. 2 strikeouts will be counted as 1 fielding out. h. If a ball is hit in the outfield runners may advance until the ball is returned to the infield. The ball does not need to be in the pitcher’s hand, just returned to the infield. i. Stealing is not allowed even on a ball that gets past the catcher. An extra base may be achieved on an overthrow to first base. j. An inning will end when a team bats through the entire batting order, regardless of the outs. Runs will not count after the third out is recorded. k. There may be no more than four (4) coaches on the field: two (2) coaches for defense, one (1) base coach and one (1) pitching coach. l. Games will be played with the league provided Safe "T" balls. No other balls will be permitted for game play. m. Games are 1 ½ hours with no new inning after 1 hour 15 min. n. Rainouts may be made up, as field space allows. o. The Board of Directors shall assign the players to respective teams. p. When possible an end of season tournament will be played.
q. All players will receive a participation trophy, 1st and 2nd place in tournament will receive an additional medal. 3. Five Year Old Machine/Coach Pitch a. Players be 4, 5 or 6 years old. Players that are 4 or 6 must get a waiver signed at sign ups. b. No score will be kept. c. Players will be divided evenly between all teams. All players will play the field. The six infield positions (pitcher, catcher, first base, second base, third base, and shortstop) will have one player per position, played at normal depth and no closer than the base line. There may be no more than three (3) coaches on the field. Coaches will play all players in the field. e. Safe “T” balls will be used. f. One hour per game. g. Rainouts may be made up, as field space allows. h. The Board of Directors shall assign the player to respective teams. i. All players will receive a participation trophy.
